Steven Paul Jobs, co-founder and master of all things Apple, has passed at the age of 56 yesterday. We at Sliceofmymind.com, want to extend our condolences to his family and friends. This is an extremely sad day for the entire tech sphere, regardless of your tech preferences or alliances.

Steve Jobs was genius, an innovator and all-around tech wizard all wrapped up in a simple black turtle neck. At times I may have disagreed with his walled-garden approach to technology but I never denied what he gave to us.

I can’t imagine a world without Mr. Jobs’s impact and what an impact it was. His vision for computers, media players, phones, tablets and of course, software created amazing products, which were often imitated but never equaled.

We will miss you Steve.
