Stupid People and Video Games
Some time ago I read about a guy named Jonquel Brooks (19), who shot and killed one and wounded two others over a Playstation. This story was amusing to say the least and even though I feel sorry for the lost soul that resulted out of this matter, the death could have been avoided.
To Jonquel, I am afraid you must be amongst the ranks of the dumbest humans to ever be born. It is people of this sort that give video games and the people that make them a very bad name. Even though this was "thief of personal property", lawmakers, parents and blamers alike will use this as ammo to claim video games make people violent. I'm not going to go into discussion of Video Games and Violence in this post (I'm writing a piece about that very subject), but clearly this kid was a dumb fuck and deserves to be placed in a prison where he can rest and be someone's bitch.
To the heroes in this matter, why not call the police? Isn't this what we pay police officers to deal with? Were you guys going to kick his ass as revenge for the stolen property? I acknowledge these are kids and believe they can handle any problem by themselves (I was one and I thought I knew everything too). I'm going to be "frank" on this matter and say you guys are a bit responsible for the death of the dead kid. There is nothing wrong with calling the police instead of trying to use "street justice" which seems to be the case.
This world is filled with people that have a lack of true reality. These are the same people that murder, steal, rape and use other degrees of stupidity to solve mental problems. Jonquel probably didn't have any self pride of diligences to work for what he wants out of life or he simply thought he could get away (the fact he shaved his head to change his appearance). Jonquel, welcome to the life of hard knocks and ass raping which you'll receive daily (if there is any true justice in this world and the prison officials don't place you in protective housing) from Big Jon in F Block, Cell 45. I hope you enjoy your stay and at least you'll learn some cool skills like Inhouse Cornrow Hair Braiding, Tossing Salad and Tea-Bagging.
