Apple’s camp has been in disarray over the past two months due to “Antennagate” and now owners of Apple’s iPhone and other smart phones who “jailbreak” them are not violating copyright laws according to several key changes in U.S. copyright law filed by the head of the Library of Congress. The new changes also allow short clips to be legally copied from DVD movies to make non-commercial videos for purposes of comment or criticism.

Entering year two of the Obama administration and I am reluctant to see any of the changes he had promised during his presidency campaign. What we have is trillions more dollars in national debt, increased job lost, a mingled health care proposal and weak economy. This is the change the liberals voted for and now according to a poll by the Wall Street Journal/NBC News "voters are less optimistic about his ability to succeed and no longer clearly favor keeping the Democrats in control of Congress".

Starting next year The New York Times will start charging readers for online articles. The New York Times is one of many newspapers trying to find new revenue after print subscriptions and advertising sales fall. On Wednesday, The New York Times Company said it will use a “metered model” which charges readers for access after they’ve read a number of articles each month. Subscribers to The New York Times newspaper will get free access to the website.
