How to voice your opinions on SOMM

It is a simple question that merits a complex answer. How does one voice their opinion on Sliceofmymind.com?
 
Sliceofmymind.com has a range of content types, from pure vanilla blog entries, poetry, short stories and columns. You can voice your opinion on our content by commenting. Almost all of the content types on SOMM allow you to comment. Comment and you earn SOMM Points (SP). This is the most straightforward way of voicing your opinions on SOMM and the main reason why you only earn 15 SP for each comment.
 
Like many online communities, we have a forum called the SOMM Forums. What separates the SOMM Forums from other communities is that we reward you with SOMM Points in three ways.
 
  • Create a forum thread on almost any topic and earn 15 SP.
  • Reply to a forum thread and earn 6 SP.
  • Here’s the kicker, at anytime if a SOMM Admin likes what you wrote (spelling and grammar counts), you can earn up to 1000 SOMM Points. This means it is in your best interest to make sure your thread or response is well written, contains no spelling errors and is grammatically correct.
     
I do pose one warning (first and last), please do not suck up to any SOMM Admin to try to get Bonus SP or complain that you should’ve earn bonus SOMM Points for your thread/reply. SOMM Administrators are under strict rules to show NO favoritism/bias for or against ANY SOMM Member. The final decision to give a SOMM Member bonus SP is always made by Dreamwriter.
 
For the writer types, we have an elaborate way for you to voice your opinion and earn a lot of SP doing so. Introducing the SOMM Opinion Habitat, a content directory where any SOMM Member, SOMM Content Publisher, SOMM Moderator and SOMM Admin can post articles like reviews, tutorials, Rants, stories, columns and much more.
 
Your content once approved earns you a cool 300 SP and up to 10000 in Bonus SP. If we like your content piece a lot, it may receive the coveted Featured FrontPage spot, which earns you SP for every time someone reads your article!
